Each lesson will have an assessment that students can complete for feedback. I typically respond within 24-hours.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
Let me help your students move towards mastery with algebraic concepts! I will provide the notes, examples, activities and directions needed to seamlessly follow through each lesson. The student will be encouraged to take notes as they move through the lessons as this will help them understand the examples and complete the puzzles, and I will respond to any questions that may be posted via Outschool messages, typically within a 24-hour time frame. The suggested completion time for all activities is 4 weeks; however, time can be extended as needed. Upon completion of all the activities, the student should have a stronger foundation of skills that will be used in higher level mathematics.
Learning Goals
The student will:
-use PEMDAS to simplify math expressions
-learn the integer rules
-use mental math and inverse operations to solve emoji puzzles/review solving equations
-use decoder puzzles to practice graphing ordered pairs

Supply List
It would be nice for students to have a three-ring binder in order to keep track of assignments and notes each week. I will provide a PDF via Outschool messages that will explain to students what needs to be for the week (objective, discussion question, notes and assessment). A calculator and graph paper would be nice items to have, however, when possible, I will suggest websites that may have the tools that a learner may need (example: online calculators).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
