Mindfulness Storytime for Body & Mind Balance - "I Am Yoga", One-On-One

Learner enjoys an interactive storytime about mindfulness through Yoga to "re-zenter" and embrace every day from a balanced, happy heart/mind space, learning skills to help support daily wellbeing for a lifetime.

Class is also available in Spanish.  
Safety First:  Learner shall be cleared by his/her/their  Physician to engage in the physical practice of Yoga. By registering Learner in this class, Guardian/Parent(s) acknowledge(s) they understand there are always risks in any physical program, assume(s) all risks, and waive(s) any rights to file any claim against the instructor and Outschool in regards to Learner's participation in class.  

Class begins with a checking-in so practices may be personalized/adapted to the learner's level; continue with our storytime about mindfulness of body and mind, and then ease into a little stretching to help release physical/mental/emotional tensions, a cleansing and relaxing breath practice;  followed by a positive and nurturing  affirmation about  self-kindness and love.  Parent is welcome to be nearby and available to Learner as needed.

This mindfulness inspired class provides a  grounding and resting point for your child to unwind, let go of any tiredness and/or stressors, and be able to feel their best again reconnecting with their inner peace, while cultivating this inner feeling to strengthen it for a lifetime. 

Teaching style is kind and inclusive; class is one-on-one to allow for the child to interact as needed/wanted and to receive the individualized attention deserved. 

No previous experience is needed.  

Parent is welcome to assist Learner as needed.

Supply List
BE PREPARED:

Learner shall be cleared by his/her/their doctor to practice Yoga.

Learner will need a non-toxic Yoga mat; Yoga props are desired but not required; 

Learner should be prepared to practice in comfortable clothes; barefoot; on an empty stomach; and be properly hydrated before class (a water bottle is not needed, but if Learner requires one, then only small sips are recommended);

Do not wear  dangling jewelry; and 

Enjoy a quiet space where to participate in this class without distractions.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
