US Grade 1 - 4
A solid foundation with arithmetic operations is critical for becoming a proficient math student. Fluency will set learners up for success when moving on to work with other number forms, such as fractions and decimals. I provide video tutorials, examples, supporting activities and clear directions to seamlessly follow through each lesson. The student will be expected to watch the videos and take notes as they move through the lessons, as this will help them understand the examples and complete the activities. I will also be available to answer questions posted in Outschool messages, typically within 24 hours. The goal is to complete the activities within a 4-week time frame; however, time can be extended if needed. Upon completing all activities, the student will have strengthened skills with their whole number operations, as well as making steps towards algebraic connections which support math proficiency.

Students should have a 3-ring binder or some type of math notebook in order to keep track of their notes. A PDF will be provided with directions on how to start and access the activities for the lesson.
