In this on-going math class the student will utilize logical steps to learn mathematical skills in preparation for pre-algebra and Algebra courses. Through speed drills, games, and worksheets, the student will be taught important principles to help him retain these basic scope and sequence standards of arithmetic. The student will learn about addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Your child will be able to confidently guide through their academic year in arithmetic. They will have a great foundation of success in their basic FUNda-Mentals of math. Learning Goals
The FUNda-Mentals of Math includes an excess of practical math problems and review exercises to help each student master important arithmetic skills. Story problems and problem-solving strategies are worked to show the student real-life situations. The FUNda-Mentals of Math takes the student from a knowledge of the unknown to the known, i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, proportions, percents, prime factoring, algebraic equations, metrics, measurement, basic geometry, problem solving, and beginning banking.
