Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and decimals, with word problem work! All are included in this math course, This is the same setup as my class "Multiplication, Division, Decimals, and Fractions Math Skills 9 week course, but this class will go at a slower pace so we can take 2 days to work on each skill. We will work on modeling of the different skills, strategies to work on word problems, and plenty of practice problems will be provided! A google slides presentation will be shared with students on the classroom page. The steps will be given on each slide, so students have a visual aid to follow along with. I will be modeling all of the strategies and problems! We will create word problems together as well, so students play a role in creating their own class! This class will have optional assessments based on parent request. Optional assessment given as a take home assignment at the start and end of the course to see growth. Variety is crucial in this class to show all different strategies students can use on each topic. This way students can choose which strategy works best for the type of learner they are! The pace of this class will depend on the needs of the students. I will adjust based on the learners enrolled! Practice problems will be given at the end of each class for independent practice (optional homework) Students enrolled in this course can be at any level! Parents can use this as a homeschool aid, remote learning supplement, or review!
