Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 2
Is your child needing to learn addition math facts or need some brush up? This is the class for you. We will be learning the method of Touch Point Math to memorize addition facts, as well as Make Ten and Doubles strategies. This class includes "Wiggle Breaks" to get our brains moving, math games and fun characters to help us practice our skills. I will teach live sessions which will provide opportunities for modeling and student practice. After each lesson, kids will have a fun math game to do with their families. My teaching style is to encourage each child at their developmental level and celebrate their individual growth in math skills. I can’t wait to meet my little mathematicians. Let's learn to love addition! A requirement for this course is that the student knows how to count to 20.
