To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.
  • Students will develop mastery of math addition facts 1-20. Week 1 - Touch Point Math for numbers 1-5 addition Week 2 - Touch Point Math for numbers 6-10 addition Week 3 - Make Ten and Doubles plus one strategies for addition up to 20 Week 4 - Solving Story problems with math fact skills

Assessment
Frequency: included
Details: Learners will receive informal assessments through class activities.
Students will need a bin/box with the following supplies available at each class: 1 small white board ( approximately 5 X 10 inches), 2 white board markers, white board eraser (a sock works), 2 pencils with erasers, twenty-five 3 X 5 cards, two 20 X 3 inch sentence strips (or paper that  an adult has cut and taped into 20 X 3 inch strips), a baggie with 20 small counting objects (such as buttons, paper clips, Lego pieces,  etc.)
