Is your child enjoying reading? This class will continue to spark the joy of reading in each learner. Lessons are structured around activities that will meet each child's individual level. My teaching style encourages confidence in readers through interactive games, read alouds (using the classic Beatrix Potter stories - no purchase necessary) and creating written sentence puzzles. This class will include a review of foundational phonics (from previous levels 1-8), blends, digraphs, vowel teams, Heart Words, vocabulary, decoding multisyllabic words, and recognizing word chunk patterns. I look forward to continuing with my learners and helping each one become a more fluent reader!

Students will need the following supplies in a box or bin available for each class: small white board, eraser, markers, pencil and eraser, sentence strips (approx. 20), 3x5 cards (approx. 10), one die (singular for dice)
