This course allows a current student of a semester course to meet one-on-one with the teacher. This course was origially designed by request for classes such as my Precalculus Flex classes. Often upper level math students enjoy one-on-one time with the teacher to stay on track and a place to freely ask questions or have additional practice. This is a discounted course and will only be available by request by current flex or semester students. This course is also offered in an ongoing version so students can just schedule as needed. Each week we will follow the teaching schedule of a semester math course. This is only offered to current students of my semester courses and topics covered will be the same as in class. Week 1: Introduction to course and growth mindset talk as well as techniques as to how to approach the course content. Week 2: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. Week 3: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. Week 4: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. Week 5: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. Week 6: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. Week 7: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. Weeks 8 through 14: Students will ask questions, teacher will give feedback for any quizzes and if time permits delve deeper into what interests the student. This course is meant to help prepare students that need a flexible schedule for course content but still would like some facetime with the teacher.

I have a Masters of Mathematics and am a licensed secondary math and financial literacy teacher. I also teach a math class for a local university. I love the exploration of math and plan to explore it in all of my classes. I also have a love of real world application and will also be teaching financial literacy courses.
My semester long classes will include plenty of exploration but will also be courses that will allow students to understand and practice concepts. As far as core classes go I teach Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus and Financial Literacy.
I have taught in ages 12 to 18 in a traditional classroom. I have also spent time volunteering and substituting in elementary math classes. I have worked with many students that have math anxiety and look forward to working with your students.
Feel free to request classes. I teach both integrated math as well as algebra, geometry, trignometry and statistics as well as financial literacy. I have received certification through NGPF to teach financial literacy.
