Description
Class Experience
Students should have mastered addition and subtraction facts as well as multiplication and division facts. Students should also be fluent in adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators, and converting between decimals, fractions, and mixed numbers. Students will learn from instruction on the whiteboard and through working example problems. Class time will be used to go over homework from the previous day, answer any questions and cover the day's lesson. Students...
Students will be required to complete worksheets A and D for each lesson as well as the tests. Students can expect to spend 4 hours or more each week to complete assignments.
Students will need a copy of the Pre-Algebra student pack ($48 ) . Books may purchased from www.mathusee.com (not an affiliate). A notebook to take notes and pen or pencil. A calculator that can perform basic functions is recommended.
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
