In this 15 week course students will learn the basics of Geometry and be ready to take Algebra 2 next semester. We will cover two (2) lessons per week. This course is equivalent to one year of Geometry.

Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Student will learn to 

*Describe points, lines, rays, line segments, angle and planes, 
*Calculate the measure of the interior and exterior angles of a regular polygon
*Understand the geometry of a circle, sphere, and ellipse
*Understand and computing volume and surface area of solids
*Use the Pythagorean theorem to identify triangle attributes
*Apply postulates, theorems, definitions, and properties to geometric proofs
Homework Offered
Students are expected to complete the A, and D worksheet from each lesson as well as the test. Additional worksheets may be completed as necessary for better understanding.
4+ hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learner progress is assessed through class participation and completion of assignments.
Grades Offered
Students will need a copy of the Geometry student pack ($48 ). Books may purchased from (not an affiliate). Students will also need a notebook to take notes, pencil, ruler, protractor, and compass.  A calculator capable of trig functions is recommended.
