In this class we will be learning how to do long division using the standard method, traditional method, and grid method. We will solve problems that finish with whole numbers, include remainders, and learn how to continue solving problems with decimals. We will also learn how to use multiplication to go back and check our work after we are done. I like to teach using the I do, we do, you do style. I will work through examples. We will go through examples as a group, and then learners will complete problems independently where I will be available for assistance. During the we do and you do parts, your learner will have plenty of time to speak with other students if they choose to do so. Your learner will need a pencil and paper for this class.

Hello, my name is Seana Mohr!
I am a certified K-6 teacher and am passionate about teaching reading, writing, and math to students in Pre-K through third grade. I believe that learning should be fun and try my best to keep lessons engaging and interesting. I have been working with children for 15 years and have done everything under the sun. Most recently, I have spent time as a kindergarten and third-grade teacher, math and reading tutor, and ESL teacher. I know that every student is unique and with the right tools and strategies they can reach their full potential.
