Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
During this 45 minute class, students will have fun participating in some interactive camping activities together. Students are welcome to join us from inside a tent or fort if they choose to. They can bring a flashlight along for some fun too! (tents/forts and flashlights are not required for class) We will begin by discussing what we know and like about camping. If your child doesn't have any prior experience or knowledge of camping, it's perfectly fine! We will all learn more information together in class! Then I will read a story about camping. Students will learn a few common constellations and we will make them together.(see supply list below) Students will then have the opportunity to participate in a few camping activities/games! Students can bring along their favorite camping treat while we learn together and discuss what we love about the great outdoors! If your child is not yet able to read, I'd love to still see him/her in class! It may be helpful for an adult to sit nearby during our camping game so they can help with reading as needed. I hope to see you on our camping adventure soon!
Learning Goals
