Students will be taught how to workout safely. Students will complete weekly workout routines. We will also begin each session with healthy eating and meal tracking. The class will begin with a greeting. We will then update our meal and weekly workout tracker and set goals. After we finish we will workout and class will end by students reflecting on the class. I am an interactive teacher. It is important that all students are included in the lessons. Learners will be up and moving at all times during the lesson.

Hello! My name is Valerie Miller. I will be teaching foundational reading skills to help students in grades K-6 with literacy foundation, effective communication and health and fitness. I am currently the Assistant Principal at a K-6 charter school. I have held roles as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and Title 1 Coordinator. I believe that all students can achieve when given the opportunity for additional learning and researched based materials. I am also a mother of 3 children. I enjoy being around children. I am also an active board member of Visions Summer Beauty Camp that helps enrich social skills in young ladies.
