Learn to Love to Read! 1-On-1

We will spend 45 min reading and discussing a given book. I want to pick a book based on your child's interests and abilities.  In order to do this, I will assess the learner and use the information to personalize the lesson plans. 

After each class, I will send a detailed report on what we practiced and how you can help at home. We will focus on strategies to improve comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency in a motivating, fun way. For example, we will use games, reader's theatre, and skills-based differentiated programs, as well as an interesting book based on an interest inventory.
