Essay Writing Made Easy: Topic "Is It Okay to Be Rude to Alexa?" or "Rise of AI"

As an educator and parent, I will teach the way students should learn essay writing which will improve test scores. If students are excited about a topic, they are interested and engaged.

Beginner - Advanced Level
Students complete the Essay Kit, a guided writing activity and outline that will help them write their own argument essay in response to this question: 

Choose One: Is it OK to be rude to voice assistants? or "The Rise of AI"

Students can use the Great Transitions and Argument Essay Checklist anchor charts to help them edit and evaluate their essays.

 Students should share their opinions and offer reasons in order to support their opinions, as well as counterarguments to the reasons and support presented by others.

Students will read and analyze a text that presents arguments on both sides of a debate, then take a stand.
