Class Experience
There are NO LIVE MEETINGS for this class. The teacher will post video lessons each week, along with discussion questions in the Outschool online classroom. Students are asked to participate in these online discussions and are encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts. This is an introduction to equine science that will include topics such as evolution, anatomy, nutrition and horse health. We will learn common terminology and breeds, markings and more! I am a certified veterinary technician, University equine studies instructor and have bred, raised and shown Arabian horses for more than 30 years. I love teaching others about horses! My interest in horses began when I was very young and I love to encourage those who have an interest to learn as much as they can about these amazing creatures!

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Week 8 may contain material that could be upsetting if a student is sensitive to learning about horse illnesses and surgery.
