In this fun, hands-on virtual horse camp, kids learn horsemanship, safety, and horse care through creative projects like designing a dream horse, solving a barn escape room, and planning their own stable.

Love horses? In this fun camp, you’ll learn how to care for them, create your own dream horse and stable, and solve a barn safety mystery. Get ready to learn, play, and explore the world of horses—all from home!

Campers will meet real horses during a virtual ranch tour and learn how to identify horse breeds, colors, and markings. We’ll explore what different horses are used for and their unique temperaments. After class, students will receive a template to create their own Dream Horse using what they learned- selecting a breed, color, markings and function of their dream horse.

Tour a Real Ranch! (LIVE)

Campers will learn how horses communicate using body language. We’ll observe real horse behavior and practice interpreting emotions based on their posture, ears, tails, and more! Learners will receive a comic book project that shows how horse expresses feelings and how we can respond safely.


Learn to "Speak" Horse

Today’s focus is on daily horse care and responsible horsemanship. Campers will explore grooming, feeding, tack, and the tools used with horses. We’ll discuss the qualities of a good horse handler and students will create a care and training plan for their Dream Horse.

Essential Horse Care & Horsemanship

Campers will learn how to stay safe around horses and in the barn. We’ll explore common hazards and emergency scenarios, then apply this knowledge in a fun, interactive virtual escape room. After class, learners will have the opportunity to create a barn safety guide or poster.

Barn Safety & Escape Room Challenge

Campers will explore what makes a horse-friendly ranch, including stalls, paddocks, arenas, and enrichment. Then they’ll receive resources to design their Dream Ranch combining everything they’ve learned: their dream horse, training plan, safety features, and care routine.
