Introduction to Guided Meditation Journeys

Daniela Sales
Average rating:5.0Number of reviews:(37)
Students will engage in an experiential introduction to guided meditation journeys followed by an artistic exploration of the experience and time dedicated to questions and reflections with the teacher and other students in the class.

Class experience

Students will develop an experiential understanding of the introductory guided meditation journeys. If they choose to practice the meditation and the artistic exercises outside of the class, they will develop skills to use the exercises independently as a source of calmness and self-compassion.
Meditation practice has transformed my life and has been a source of inspiration and healing in numerous ways for me, my family, and my students. I have been practicing meditation for almost two decades and serving as a guide and teacher of meditation practices to students of various ages for the past ten years. In addition to being a certified Waldorf Class teacher, I am also a certified Meditation Facilitator for Children, and have earned degrees in Natural Health and Traditional Naturopathy.
It is a tremendous joy and a true honor to be a guide to each student as they expand their sense of gratitude and discover the nourishing and inspiring practices of art journaling.
A comfortable quiet place to attend the class. A blank unlined journal and preferred artistic medium (color pencils, crayons, pastels, graphite pencils, markers, etc.).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents are always welcome to support their students in ways that help the student engage and prepare for the class.
