Next Generation Standard: 4-LS1-1. Construct an argument that plants and animals have internal and external structures that function to support survival, growth, and/ or behavior

Standards:
RI.2.1 Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text/ lesson

2-LS4-1. Make observations of animals to compare the diversity of life in different habitats

Paper and a writing/drawing utensil for the drawing activity (optional)

No formal assessment is given but parents will receive correspondence after class related to the facts their learner was able to recall/ write/ summarize.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
