Immerse yourself in my professional Algebra 2 class, designed to introduce learners to key concepts over a focused 6-week period. Students will actively engage by taking comprehensive notes and participating in collaborative and individual problem-solving sessions. Class materials, including handouts, will be provided to facilitate independent practice through assigned homework. The concluding minutes of each session will be dedicated to addressing any questions or concerns, including homework review. My structured schedule covers vital topics, such as polynomials, complex numbers, factoring, polynomial division, and equations. Please note that the class pace is adaptable to students' readiness, ensuring optimal understanding. Consistent completion of homework assignments is highly recommended, as it strengthens overall comprehension and retention. Furthermore, I am readily available for messaging support, offering additional resources such as guides and worksheets, and providing personalized one-on-one tutoring for students who require extra assistance. Class sessions will begin promptly, with a 10-minute grace period allowed for student attendance. Learners will also be given a 10 minute break in between. Enroll now and unlock the full potential of your mathematical proficiency! SCHEDULE: Week 1: Introduction to Polynomials- What are they? Different terms? We will be adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing terms. Week 2: Complex Numbers - We will be dealing with the Imaginary letter i as well as adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing complex numbers. We will also learn to deal with powers and radicals of i and plots coordinates on a plane. Week 3: Factoring & Multiplying Binomials/Polynomials etc. - Using different techniques for factoring, learning which formulas to use for different types of equations and etc. Week 4: Polynomial division - Dividing polynomials. Week 5: Equations; Rational equations, square root equations, extraneous solutions, cube root equations, and quadratic systems. Week 6: Left for extra time for topics / review

In this Algebra 2 class, we utilize the free online learning platform Khan Academy. It offers a convenient and accessible resource for students to engage with course materials. No account is required, and learners will receive a class code to sign up. As a parent, you can support your child's learning journey by encouraging them to utilize Khan Academy for additional practice and reinforcement outside of class.
