This is a small very interactive introductory class for learners that have an interest in horses and would like to gain some knowledge, understanding and experience of basic horse topics. Your learner will have the opportunity to see first hand how horses behave! This class will begin with group discussion talking about the basics of horses and answering any questions the learners may have ahead of time. Then we will go outside and meet one of my horses. Learners will have the opportunity to learn in real time with one of my horses. Through live demonstration, the topics we will cover includes how to greet a horse safely, visually identifying the body parts with the appropriate terminology, learn and identify basic grooming tools used, checking for injuries and basic nutrition needs with the safe way to feed a treat to a horse! Once we are done, your learner will be able to ask any questions they may have about what we covered! This is a 45 minutes class, but I will need a max of 5 minutes to set up the video outside on the tripod.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics
Hello! Welcome to my classes :) I LOVE to learn, teach, watch others learn and especially when someone gets that "aahh I get it" moment! I am a math, science, computer tech and robotics teacher at my school. I love science, animals, math and the environment. I have taught Biology, Earth Science, Envrionmental Science, Physical Science and different levels of math. I believe that you never stop learning and that mistakes are a good thing because they are learning moments. Out of school, I am a horseback riding instructor. I love all of these roles! I don't believe there is one way to learn or do things - everyone is unique and has their way. When I taught math, I taught the same concept multiple ways and had my students pick which way was easier for them! Thank you for visiting my page and I look forward to teaching your child one day!
