Class Experience

In this AP Environmental Science class, students will explore the foundational concepts of environmental science that will build on the 9 units assessed by the college board for Environmental Science. Throughout the course, we’ll cover a wide range of topics that include environmental issues that helps to prepare students to take the APES exam.

The class is structured around weekly live sessions that combine direct instruction with engaging discussions, and each session will follow a consistent format that includes a lecture segment, interactive discussions, and practice exercises. I’ll utilize a blend of digital slides, short video clips, real-world issues, and games to reinforce key concepts and keep the learning experience dynamic.

The class size is limited to five students to allow for more individualized instruction.

My teaching style is energetic, approachable, and student-centered—I aim to make science feel relevant and exciting by encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact with me during live lectures through open Q&A, chat polls and guided discussions. These interactions aren’t just welcomed—they’re a key part of the learning process, helping students connect the material to real-world issues and their own experiences.
