🌟 Explore the Wonders of Physical Science! 🌟 This class is perfect for students seeking extra support, fulfilling a science requirement, or simply exploring the physical forces that shape our world. One week, we might design our own investigations like real scientists. The next, we’ll explore how physical science principles apply to our everyday lives. The course was designed to be Aligned with the NGSS Standards for Physical Science to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Our sessions are a blend of various activities to keep students engaged. We will utilize visuals, lectures, group discussions and online games to break down and reinforce the concepts. There will be interactive assignments that builds on the concepts we learn. With an emphasis on student inquiry, I have really tried to build this class to encourage learners to think critically and make connections that last. My hopes is my students will make connections that they can relate to life!
Learning Goals
Explore the scientific theory of atoms
Recognize that there are a finite number of elements and that their atoms combine in a multitude of ways to produce compounds that make up all of the living and nonliving things that we encounter.
