Environmental Science for High School W/Labs Semester 1

This will be a full semester (part 1) of high school Environmental Science with the option to continue the second semester!  Learners will be able to participate in a live lesson, share ideas, and collaborate with their peers.  Each lesson will introduce a concept or skill in an engaging way, followed by interactive practice through sets of problems or games. Students will explore different perspectives on the skill and review key points to ensure mastery.  Each week we will also have a core subject focus, such as math, reading or map concepts, that will be specific to science.

There are a few labs that we will be doing that are listed on the syllabus.  A week before the class begins, I will email the supply list for the labs.  The supplies won't cost more than $20 for the whole semester.

Some of the topics we will be covering is the scientific method, biodiversity, ecosystems, populations and more!

Homework will be given and will be optional.  There are case studies with 2 critical thinking questions that will be provided at times for homework.  There could also be various skills or activities.  These are optional!

Refund Policy:  I adhere to Outschool's refund/reschedule policy for all tutoring sessions and classes. This means that once a class has been paid for, there will be no deviation from Outschool's guidelines. I do not offer refunds or rescheduling outside of what Outschool allows. 

Camera Policy:  All students are required to keep their camera turned on during the entire class. The only exception is those that have been verified by Outschool and have the verification badge.
