This is an on-going course that focuses on basic phonics skills. Your child will have the opportunity to learn by watching and practicing. Learning Goals
Students will learn and practice different sounds that phonemes make. They will be able to build, manipulate, write and read words based off of the sounds taught. Students will be able to rhyme and break words into syllables.

Students need paper, pencil, and coloring materials for each class. There may be other various materials needed for classes that will be posted to the classroom page prior to class.

Maria Ramirez is a Massachusetts licensed Elementary Teacher who has been teaching children for over a decade in public, private and charter schools including after school and summer programs. The majority of her teaching has taken place in first and second grade classrooms.
