Class Experience

In this class we will be using my tried and true planner routine to help you learn how to gather your thoughts, prioritize what needs to get done (& when), and ensure we have all assignments for the week turned in or reminders set to do so.

This class does not build on previous weeks, so your learner is encouraged to come once to learn the routine or come weekly to stay accountable!

Weekly Routine:
-Welcome in! We'll introduce ourselves and share our goals for the week.
-Open up planners and our school's online portals (ex: Google Classroom, Blackboard, etc)
-We'll go through the planner routine to make a plan for our weeks
-If time (or we finish early), we'll practice a study skill such as note taking, making and using flash cards, and more!
Learning Goals
Students will improve in managing their time by using a paper planner to prioritize assignments and commitments.

Parental Guidance
This class will not use any outside resources outside of a Google Slideshow with our planner routine.
Supply List
-A PDF planner will be provided that I suggest students use to follow along. However, if they have a planner they have and enjoy using they are more than welcome to use that as well.
-They will need access to their school/homeschool's learning portal (Google Classroom, Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, etc).
