WHAT STUDENTS WILL ACHIEVE In our sessions, students will: -Identify their learning style and create a personalized goals poster for the school year. -Develop self-management and time-management techniques. -Explore twenty memory techniques and implement the most effective ones for their needs. -Master reading techniques to boost comprehension and speed. -Learn effective note-taking strategies. -Understand key strategies for before, during, and after tests. -Acquire core skills for critical thinking and problem-solving in various situations. We’re excited to partner with you in helping your child succeed academically and grow as a confident learner. CONTINUOUS SUPPORT In addition to our sessions, your child will have access to additional support via email or video recordings throughout the week, whenever needed. My approach is rooted in a strong educational background and values, utilizing research-based strategies to meet your child’s grade-level standards. Parental Guidance
This class may from time to time utilize Kahoot! for engagement and Nearpod. While we may use Kahoot! from time to time, no log-in information will be required.
Students doing a virtual vision board will need to access Canva.com
We will also utilize Google Calendar
Students will need to enter an email for Google Forms to get their results; however, this can be a parent email. No other communication will come to that email.
