Learners are invited to join the fun as we explore some high-interest topics. They will choose which topic they would like to explore. Using a multimedia interactive learning guide, learners will begin their exploration by diving into the topic complete with kid-friendly videos, audio clips, graphics, photographs, and more. This class is a self-directed class that allows the learner to oversee their learning. Here are the topics explored. Amusement Parks-Learners will explore amusement parks around the world, both past and present. Baseball-Learners will explore America's favorite past time, both the past and present. Caves-Learners will explore fascinating caves around the world. Sharks-Learners will explore sharks in oceans around the world. Space-Learners will explore just how massive our universe is. Sunken Ships-Learners will explore shipwrecks throughout history, and the buried treasures they took with them. Paleontology-Learners will explore dinosaurs, fossils, and what we have learned about life long ago. World Wonders-Learners will explore the seven natural wonders found throughout the world.
I am a certified teacher who loves to make learning fun for students. We will learn by doing and having fun!

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
*External Resources Used: Google Earth, YouTube (videos are embedded in the LINKtivity®) *This is a one-week, learner-directed SELF-PACED class. Learners can only choose one topic to explore in each class. If they would like to explore more than one, they are welcome to register for the class again. I encourage them to explore them all! *LINKtivity® Interactive Learning Guide is a fun and interactive multimedia learning guide that will keep learners engaged and motivated with kid-friendly videos, audio clips, graphics, photographs, and more that put them in control of their learning process. Each LINKtivity® has audio support to read the text to students so they can focus on learning. There are also interactive activities built in so students can monitor their own understanding. No account is required to access the LINKtivity®. The LINKtivity® DOES NOT ask for any information from the student. *Note: This is a SELF-PACED class. There will be NO live meetings. We will do everything using videos, pictures, and posts in the classroom. *REFUND POLICY: Once the material has been sent to the learner, there will be NO refunds issued. If your learner changes their mind and wants to choose a different topic, they are welcome to register for the class again. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
