In this ongoing class, students will explore countries around the world. Each week will take us to a new place where we learn about the country's geographic location and capital city, the meaning(s) of the colors and symbols that make up its flag, food and other agricultural products, animals, and other interesting facts. At the end of the class, students will be able to locate the country of study on the world map and share some interesting facts about the country.
I have my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Sociology and have studied different cultures around the world. I am passionate about geography and history and readily welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge with others.
