In this class we will use number bonds to learn the relationship between addition and subtraction problems. This will lead us to finding missing addends in math problems. We will use the vocabulary part +part= whole and whole-part=part I will give the students examples of a number bond and show them how to use one. Common Core Standards CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.NBT.B.5 Fluently add and subtract within 100 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Students will need a paper and pencil or a white board that they can do their problems on.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
