Come read the exiting Unofficial Minecraft books by Danica Davidson. Each book is filled with adventure while taking place in the Minecraft world. Anyone who is a fan of Minecraft would love to image what it would be like to live an adventure in the Minecraft world. I will provide discussion questions for each class, but learners are welcome to ask their own questions about the books. They can feel free to say what they liked or disliked about the book. We will also compare the game Minecraft to the plot in the books. 

Here is a weekly breakdown:

Week 1: Read "Escape From the Overworld". During class we will discuss Steve's first adventure. What do we hope to see happen in the next few books. 

Week 2: Read "Attack on the Overworld". During class we will discuss Steve and Madison's friendship. We will also talk about how Madison is being cyberbullied. 

Week 3: Read "The Rise of Herobrine". During class we will discuss Herobrine and what future role Herobrine will play in other books. 

Week 4: Read "Down into the Nether". During class we will discuss the Nether and what it would be like to journey to the Nether. We will also discuss how they would prepare to face Herobrine. 

Week 5: Read "The Armies of Herobrine". During class we will discuss the Halloween party and how they would react to zombies being released at their school. We will also discuss if this is the last time we see Herobrine. 

Week 6: Read "Battle with the Wither". During class we will discuss Steve's character arch. How was Steve in the first book? How has he changed and grown.
