In this exciting learning journey, students will embark on a comprehensive exploration of key subjects tailored to the second-grade curriculum. Course Overview:
This 2nd Grade Homeschool Pod class is designed to provide a well-rounded educational experience that covers essential subjects for second graders. We will focus on building strong foundations in reading, math, science, language arts, and social studies, fostering both academic and personal growth.

In this 2nd-grade homeschool class, students will learn everything needed to succeed as second-graders. We will enjoy learning and practicing our motoring movement skills through singing and dancing. Students can work on their social skills by interacting with their classmates. Students can access interactive learning websites such as Lilio, Epic!, Zearn, NearPod, etc. Your student will receive a password and username once they have registered for the class. Teachers will assign an assignment to your learner throughout the week on the website. 

We will enjoy learning and practicing our motoring movement skills through singing and dancing. Students can work on their social skills by interacting with their classmates.

***It is imperative to note that learners will take 10 minutes in the middle of class. This is considered a "BRAIN BREAK." During our breaks, students can step away from the camera, use the restroom, grab a sip of water, color, chit-chat with their classmates, etc.

Learning Goals
By the end of the school year, second-grade students will demonstrate proficiency in reading comprehension, math problem-solving, and scientific inquiry. Zearn is an interactive website used to enhance our learners' math and will only be used in class. Learners will have homework through the interactive learning website, allowing me to give effective feedback to learners.

Suggestion: 
It may be easier to create a daily folder for each day with the materials/worksheets already ready for your learner. You may also want to try colored-coded folders for each day: Monday-red, Tuesday-blue, Wednesday-green, etc. I try my best each week to let you all know what we are working on each day. If you need any other tips, please let me know. I love to help all of our learners to be organized.
