In this weekly class, we will meet to cover areas designed to fit the needs of each learner. Choose from early literacy, math, science, and motor skills.
Class experience
In this weekly class, learners can work one on one with Miss Leigh to meet their specific needs. We will work on early reading and writing skills, introduce math concepts, and tie them together with a common theme each week. Science and craft activities can be included at parent's request. Literacy goals: build phonological awareness, recognize rhyming words, recognize names and common words such as name and colors, basic CVC and sight words Numeracy goals: count up to 20 out loud, identify numbers up to 20, put numbers in order, pair numbers and groups of objects, add and subtract using manipulatives, demonstrate concept of more and less, pattern recognition
