Miss Suzanne is an experienced web designer, blogger, and educational content creator. For years, she has been utilizing Canva to craft captivating social media graphics, engaging videos, and educational resources. Miss Suzanne has also conducted numerous teacher professional development sessions, guiding educators on using Canva to create compelling content for the classroom.

Assessment
Frequency: Available upon requestDetails: Learners are primarily assessed through instructor observation and interaction however I occasionally incorporate tools such as Mentimeter as a fun check-in or exit ticket.
Students will need to create an account on Canva.com before the first class session. They may choose to use the free Canva account or opt to upgrade to a pro account to unlock all premium graphics. Your child may also be eligible for an account upgrade through the Canva for Students program. Contact Miss Suzanne for more information about Canva for Students. Students will also need a Google account and access to Google Sheets for week 7 of this course.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will need to create either a free, student, or pro account with Canva in order to participate in this course. Each week a new concept will be demonstrated on the Canva platform and students will be given allocated "studio time" to create, collaborate, experiment and ask questions. During week 7, students will also need access to Google Sheets in order to fully participate in the AI magic part of this course.
This course is exclusively based on my practical experience using Canva for web design, social media, video creation, and educational content development, forming the sole foundation of the curriculum. No external sources were utilized in its creation. Additionally, my experience teaching others how to use Canva ensures that the material is presented in the most effective way possible. I am continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities of the Canva platform, providing learners with current insights and skills in graphic design.
