In this self-paced English Language Arts class, learners will embark on a journey to discover the meaning of setting, an essential element in storytelling. The class will cover the following:

Learn what a setting is and its role in storytelling.

🔹 Visual Exploration
Identify the setting in engaging photographs to recognize how different settings can be portrayed visually.

🔹 Descriptive Writing
Describe a setting in their house using sensory details, creating vivid imagery with words.

🔹 Story Analysis
Read a story together and identify its setting, reinforcing previously learned concepts.

🔹 Creative Project
Create a unique setting by drawing a picture and writing a description of it.

🔹 Practice Activity
Read another passage and practice finding the setting to solidify understanding.

There are worksheets to be printed, however they can be done on paper if a printer is not available.
