This class is a discovery class where the only requirement is a passion for learning and creating. It is designed for girls and boys 7 to 9 years old. In this live, online class, each student will: - Participate in a class with other children in his/her age group to learn about the basic idea of engineering and engineers. Syllabus/Topics covered: - What is an engineer? - What do engineers do? - Start thinking like an engineer. The 45 minutes classes are incredibly interactive: 10-minute lecture using videos and slides. 25-minute self-paced creation. 10-minute discussion of achievements.
Learning Goals
In our Engineering class, students will learn about the role of engineers and how their designs contribute to everyday life.
In this class, students will put on their engineering caps and test their abilities by improving a virtual object.
