Class Experience

Electrical Engineers play an important role in our everyday lives; in this club, we will be learning the basics of electrical engineering and how it impacts our everyday life.

In this club, you will get to experience first hand what it is like to think like an Engineer. You will have the opportunity to design, plan, create, troubleshoot, and test your own solutions to each week's challenge using the Engineering Design Process.

In our Electronics Club, participants will learn through collaboration more about electricity, electronics, and microprocessors.

In this club, participants will put on their engineering caps and test their abilities by creating different electronic/electrical engineering projects.
Bright & Smart was founded in 2005. We have been teaching and developing our programs for the past 15 years. We create our programs with students' learning experience in mind; we want them to learn to love STEM. To develop their higher cognitive skills and natural abilities, we help them see themselves as technology creators.
Students will be allowed to continue to improve their projects in between meetings. At the beginning of every meeting, club members may present their projects and improve the process.
Suggested electronic/electric materials to have available during the meetings:
Microprocessor / Microcontroller,
Alligator jumper cables,
Any clamping tools,

No assessment will be administered. This class allows students to challenge themselves to think outside the box and place themselves in engineers' minds.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
