Class Overview: In this one-hour interactive class, students will gain insight into what it takes to succeed in engineering college. This course is designed for high school students and recent graduates who aspire to pursue an engineering degree and want to understand the academic, social, and professional expectations that come with it. Topics to be Covered: - Engineering Disciples Overview: - What to Expect in Engineering College: Curriculum Structure and Subjects - What Equipment/Supplies Should You Have - Essential Skills and Tips for Success - Getting Involved: Extracurriculars, Internships, and College Experiences Class Structure: 1 hour Class Format: Interactive Lecture and Q&A Opportunities
