Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to cook and bake dairy free as well as incorporate some math practice with fractions in baking.
I have developed and allergy to diary as an adult and had to learn to cook and bake dairy free. Since that time two of my 4 children have also become diary allergic. I love teaching children to cook and bake and especially show them they don't have to miss out on their favorites.
Students should clean their work station when finished and try a bite of their food. I would love to see pictures of the finished product with their review of how it turned out in the classroom.
The ingredient list and recipe will be posted in the classroom each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This is a cooking and baking class. Students will be using the oven, stove, knives, and frying oil at times and parents should be near in the event of an emergency or if the student needs help. Parents need to be sure they are helping from off screen though due to Outschool policy. Of course we will also learn about kitchen safety as well.
