Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to create an Escape Room by creating a theme, creating a Google Slide Escape Room, and creating a Google Form lock for the room.
Class 1: Creating a Theme and inserting pictures in Google Slides
Class 2: Adding clues to the Escape Room and adding links in Google Slides
Class 3: Creating a Lock using Google Forms
Class 4: Testing out an Escape Room- students will play an Escape Room. It may be one that has been created by the teacher, or it could be one that has been created and shared with the class prior to the last lesson.
I have taught in brick-and-mortar schools for 30 years. During this time, I trained teachers on creating Escape Room activities for the classes and developed several Escape Rooms for the school Media Center and STEM lab.
Homework will not be assigned, but students are encouraged to create their own Escape Room. If they would like to do so and share it with the class, they are welcomed to post a link to their Escape Room in the classroom. If the student-created Escape Room is posted prior to the last class, it may be used as an activity during the last class.
