In this combined murder mystery-escape room, students will each take on the role of a character involved in the murder. Together they will work to figure out who is responsible for the murder by analyzing clues, solving puzzles, and playing a character. Students will experience a traditional escape room experience with the twist that they will have a script to read for their character and that they will have to figure out who the murderer is! Here is the story: It is 1936, and you are on board a train headed to meet with a potential buyer that your group will be selling your rare diamond collection to. You may be asking yourself, ‘How did I get my hands on these diamonds?’ Well, the seven of you took part in a dangerous heist six years ago to steal this extremely valuable diamond collection. After the heist, you each agreed to keep one diamond in your possession. Scarlett has called you all together to meet on a train headed to Colorado to meet the buyer. But I have a feeling things may not go as smoothly as planned… Information for the class: - 5 minutes for introductions and explanation of the escape room - 45 minutes to escape and solve the murder - 5 minutes to conclude Scripts: Students will each be given a script prior to the class time which will be delivered to them prior to their class. Students will either print or have their lines open on another device so that they can read their lines when prompted during class. If there are any concerns about your student reading in class please do not hesitate to reach out and I will accommodate to ensure they feel comfortable in class. Birthday parties can be requested!
