Create and Code Your First Mobile App (Introduction)

This class is a discovery class where the only academic requirement is a passion for learning and creating. On the technical part, the application that we use to teach App Creation requires signing up using an email account; please decide on the best option for your family.

In this online live course, each student will:
- Participate in a class with other children his/her age group (10-14) using a Design Process to create their first mobile app.
- Learn to design, build, code, test, and debug one simple mobile app.
- Collaborate with small groups (6 students maximum per class) with one adult certified live instructor.

Introduction to the Platform
- What is an app?
- What are Operating Systems?
- Create, Build, Code and Test a simple one screen mobile App 

The 50 minutes class are incredibly interactive:
10-minute lecture using videos and slides.
30-minute self-paced creation.
10-minute discussion and sharing of achievements.
