Miss Devyn's Video Game Universe presents our Pokémon Unite Weekly Video Game Social Club! 🍎Get to know our teachers (copy and paste in your browser): https://bit.ly/VGUMeetTheTeachers 🚀 Class Description: Pokemon Unite is a free game that can be downloaded on mobile devices and on the Nintendo Switch. Students are welcome to play on their tablets, phones, or Switch during class. In each class, students will come and play Pokemon Unite together. We will discuss strategy, team work, and team builds. This is a great class for students who enjoy playing Pokemon Unite and are trying to improve their skills. This is also a great class for students who are still learning the ins and outs of the game and want to learn more. Neurodivergent students, ESL students, and all LGBTQA+ students are always welcome in Miss Devyn's Video Game Universe classes. We will not follow a strict weekly schedule. I will help the students with what they need help with each week. That is what makes my ongoing classes ideal for students. They can jump in and out at any time and we will work on exactly what they need. Here is a rough idea of what we will do each week. 🥳 Small Class Sizes: Our smaller class sizes guarantee quality attention given to each individual! Rather than getting lost inside a giant class or being isolated inside a Zoom breakout room, our teachers play along on their screens and get to know every individual, and learners are given a chance to form true bonds of friendship. 📝 Course Requirements: - Nintendo Switch/Smart Phone/Tablet - Pokemon Unite downloaded onto the game device (Pokemon Unite is a FREE game!) - A strong Internet connection for gaming ⌨️ Gamer Tags: Gamer tags will be visible during the battles. Students can add each other as friends if they would like to, however it is not a requirement for the class. Teachers will create private parties to play together with students, and voice chat options will be disabled.
Learning Goals
Our goal in all of our classes is to give students, especially neurodiverse students, a safe place to play video games online. We also hope that they will make great friends who share their interests and passions.
