In this one time class students will complete a KWL chart about polar bears, take turns reading facts about polar bears, discuss what they've learned, and if we have time will watch a fun video about polar bears.

Class Experience
This class is designed for students in first and second grade who are able to read sentences with support or independently. The lesson will start with an introduction to KWL charts. The students will complete what they know and what they want to learn about polar bears. During the lesson students will be asked to read aloud. If your student is nervous I will echo read with them, but I do want them practicing their literary skills. After the lesson has been read students will complete what...
