Welcome to Earth! One of the most interesting, complex, beautiful places in the universe!

In this ongoing class students will learn about one amazing geological feature on our planet. These are some of the most interesting places that most people have never heard of!

We'll talk about what makes these places unique, how they were formed, how old they are, and if they help or harm humans. Most weeks will involve geology, but there may be other topics that are included throughout the class. 

This is an ongoing class so students can join at any time!

Week of August 12: Grand Canyon Part Two (You don't need to attend week one)
Week of August 19: Yellowstone
Week of August 26:  Sink Holes
Week of September 2:  Crystal Cave

Week of September 16: NO CLASS
Week of September 23: Rock Forest
Week of September 30: Blue Flame Volcano
Week of October 7: Darvaza Gas Crater
Week of October 14: Rainbow Mountain

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students will not be going off the Outschool platform. All information will be presented by me through a presentation that includes pictures and occasionally embedded videos.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Sources
Since each week is different, the resources used will vary. Information will be gathered from some the USGS website, various national and state park websites, and national geographic.
