Join me as we learn about 5 new animals each week. Get ready to roar, fly, tweet, and gallop as we explore amazing animals all around the world! Students will listen to the sounds the animal makes and try to guess it's name! Once we've figured out what the animal is, I will spend time talking about each animal. Students will learn words like "herbivore" "carnivore" and "omnivore", we will discuss what colors the animal is, and we will listen to the beginning letter sound and try to figure out which letter makes that sound! This class is high energy and parents should expect that students will be loud as we make animal sounds! Week of February 7: African Animals Week of February 14: Artic Animals Week of February 21: Forest Animals Week of February 28: Farm Animals **Class Details** I try to keep students unmuted so we can practice the animal sounds. Please make sure that your learner has a quiet place to take the class.

Hello families! I’m Amanda and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your learner! I love everything about education and feel consider being a teacher as part of who I am. It is my passion!
I have a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education, two active teaching licenses in Arizona and reading and ESL endorsements. I've been teaching since 2017 and I'm working towards a master's in child and adolescent development.
My goal as your learner’s teacher is to inspire them to be lifelong learners. Learning is scary and requires a lot of vulnerability to take chances knowing you could make a mistake. I pride myself on helping students feel safe, confident, and secure in themselves. I’ve always seen tremendous growth in students when they are in an environment that allows for them to safely make mistakes and learn from them.
I’m looking forward to meeting your learner and joining them in their educational journey!
