Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
•	I will read the novel aloud throughout the course.
•	I will read for the first 35 – 40 minutes of each session and then have a brief discussion
with the students about the plot and themes in the book to ensure they understand it.
•	While reading, I will demonstrate clear pronunciation and emphasis.
•	I will encourage learns to stop me at any time if they have questions or comments.
•	Each session will begin with a brief review from the previous class.
•	Learners may need to read between sessions if they miss class and fall behind, but they
can contact me throughout the week with any questions.

Learning Goals

Students will gain a thorough understanding of the book. They will be able to use this knowledge in discussions and writing assignments.
