Students will learn the steps of the scientific method, and how to apply it in multiple situations. They will learn the value of scientific thinking in everyday life.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 5
Students will be taught the steps to the scientific method, and how to apply it to different situations. My style of teaching incorporates lectures with discussions. I like to present the material and try to engage with the learners to check their understanding. Class One: Introduce the steps of the scientific method, and discuss their importance Class Two: Students will be given a mystery or problem to solve using the scientific method. They will be able to work together to solve it.
Students will be able to identify the steps of the scientific method. Students will be able to explain how to apply the steps to solve problems.
I have two years of experience teaching high school science.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
