Do you enjoy working on your craft projects while hanging out with others? Do you have a passion you love to discuss while crafting? Or just love to read? This class might be for you! This class is for students who enjoy any crafts. I have experience with knitting, cross-stitching, crochet, and sewing. I'm happy to help students with any questions they may have while they work on their projects. The topics of conversations don't always have to be related to our crafts. We're here to hang out, work on our projects, and make friends. I hope to see you soon! Students can bring their knitting, crochet, cross-stitch projects, or any other craft project to work on and hang out with the other students. They will have an opportunity to socialize and make new friends. Students will also be able to show off their finished projects or just show the class what he or she is working on. I have experience with these crafts and can potentially help with small problems. This course is meant to be a club and a social activity for the students.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to make new friends, practice their social skills, and work on any crafting projects they have going on.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
UPDATE: I am taking a break from Outschool. After the spring semester of 2024 ends, I will take a hiatus.
I offer a variety of science and math classes. I have close to ten years of teaching experience. I've worked with students of all ages including young adults. I experience teaching in the classroom and teaching virtually. I have a B.A. from Louisiana State University.
I've helped tutoring student reach their goals whether it's to pass a standardized test or get a passing grade in a course.
I think that a basic understanding of science enhances one's life. It opens up a world hidden to most people. Studying science and math helps children to develop critical thinking skills that can be applied to all areas of life. My goal in all my classes is to inspire the students to study science. I want them to always ask questions and to stay curious.
Please reach out to me if you don't see a time that works for your child. I will try to be accommodating if it is possible.
When I am not teaching or prepping for classes, I enjoy crafting, reading, working out, and spending time with my dog.
"If you are scientifically literate the world looks very different to you. And that understanding empowers you." -Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson
**All classes are taught with an evolutionary perspective and according to Outschool's policies.**
