Your child will learn how to set up and conduct an experiment as well as how to complete a lab report. They will learn the chemical composition of white distilled vinegar and egg shells, and how they interact. They will learn a few science vocabulary words: elements, hypothesis, and experiment.

2 files available upon enrollment3 hard-boiled eggs (white) 3 containers that are deep enough to hold 10-12 ounces of liquid 3 spoons for stirring and lifting eggs out of the dye Liquid food coloring (We will be using 1 color ) 4 cups of warm water ( The kids will get the water as soon as class introductions are made.) White distilled vinegar (1 Tablespoon) Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon) Masking tape Marker 1 cup or 2 cup measuring glass (Can be plastic.) Empty egg carton ( The kids will be placing their dyed eggs into the egg carton.) Paper towels or cloth towels for cleaning up spills
